今回の作品は、再開発に着手する架空の都市を舞台にしたコンセプト・ビジュアル。
私が拘ったのは、進化していく街の未来だけではなく、その街が培ってきた歴史的な魅力にも視線を向けること。
タイトルは「デュエットが街を熱くする」。音楽をモチーフに、新旧の二つの魅力をデュエット・イメージを表現。
都市の未来を奏でるトランペットと、歴史の大切さを歌うブルースハープ。音楽は人々の心を動かす力であり、モチベーションを刺激し、新しいコトを生み出してくれます。個性を競い合う新旧の魅力が融合しデュエットすれば、街の新たな魅力が浮上し来ないかなぁ……
This work is a concept visual set in a fictional city that is undergoing redevelopment.
What I focused on was focusing not only on the future of the evolving city, but also on the historical charm that the city had cultivated.
The title is based on the musical motif of “a duet heats up the town”. and expresses the image of a duet that brings together the charms of old and new.
A trumpet plays the future of the city, and a blues harp sings about the importance of history. Music has the power to move people's hearts, stimulate motivation, and create new ideas. I wonder if a new charm of the city will emerge if the charms of old and new, competing for their individuality, fuse together and create a duet...
